You want to set your child up for a healthy life — and oral habits play a big role here. Work with your child to build these dental health habits into their routine.
Some people are blessed with even, nicely shaped teeth. Others aren’t so lucky. If you’re unhappy with your smile, we have some good news.
With veneers, you have a way to completely change the look of your smile. You can get the teeth shapes and sizes you’ve always wanted with this cosmetic dentistry option. Veneers can transform a single tooth that bothers you or change your entire smile.
At Livonia Family Smiles in Livonia, Michigan, our cosmetic dentistry specialists have extensive experience with veneers. Shiva Hogugi, DDS, Ramin Rajaee, DDS, and Aziza Askari, DMD, can help you explore how veneers can help you reach your smile goals.
At our office, our providers offer porcelain veneers. Basically, these are ultra-thin shells we bond to the front of your teeth. This covers over any tooth you don’t like, instead showing the world a beautifully shaped and colored tooth.
We can shape your veneers to align with your smile goals. If you want longer teeth, for example, veneers can deliver that. Or you can use a veneer to cover over a single stained or uneven tooth or several teeth with chips or cracks.
Similarly, we can color the veneers just for you. If you’re getting one or a few veneers, we make sure they perfectly match your surrounding teeth. If you’re getting a full set of veneers, though, you can choose a dazzling white shade to get not just a better-shaped smile, but also a brighter one.
Veneers can last a decade or more with proper care, helping you get long-lasting smile results. Or, if you’re looking for a way to transform your smile with less commitment, our team also offers Snap-On Smile, a removable arch of custom-created veneers.
In short, if you’ve ever wanted a way to change the way your teeth look, veneers deliver. Talk with our team to find the right option for you.
If you choose porcelain veneers for a lasting, natural-looking and natural-feeling way to transform your smile, getting your veneers requires two visits to our office.
During the first visit, we prepare your teeth. This means removing a very small amount of enamel from the front of any tooth that’s getting a veneer. This creates space so the ultra-thin veneer can lay flush against your tooth and gumline and line up precisely with your surrounding teeth. Then, we take impressions of the prepared teeth so we can create your veneers.
Once the veneers are ready, you return to our office to have them bonded in place. That day, you’ll leave our office with your totally transformed smile.
Caring for your veneers is just like caring for your natural teeth. Make sure to brush and floss regularly and avoid staining substances like cola, coffee, and tobacco.
