Waterlase Dental Laser
Our dentists use Waterlase, a dental laser able to cut through both teeth and gums. Whether you need laser treatment for gum disease or a cavity filling, you can trust our dentists to use the latest technology. It has always been our goal to improve patient comfort in the dentist’s chair, which is why we use Waterlase.
Benefits of laser dentistry:
- Minimal pain
- Minimal bleeding
- Minimally invasive
- Quick recovery
Waterlase for Teeth
While drilling exerts pressure on your teeth, Waterlase is able to precisely cut through tissue without heat or vibration. Not only does this improve your comfort during a procedure, but it can also reduce your need for anesthesia, injections, and drilling. Since Waterlase is highly precise, we’re able to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible when removing cavities.
Waterlase for Gums
Need gum disease treatment? People with periodontal disease often have deep gum pockets around their teeth. Over time, these pockets get filled with plaque and will need to be cleaned by your dentist. Fortunately, our dental laser cauterizes as it cuts to reduce bleeding and recovery time.
During gum disease treatment, your dentist will use a soft-tissue laser to access these pockets. The laser kills bacteria and removes infected tissue, which helps reduce inflammation so your body has a chance to heal. Your dentist will then use micro ultrasonic instruments to remove tartar from both above and below the gum line.
